At Kountry Thyme Jack Russell Terriers our focus is on QUALITY not QUANTITY.  Due to that fact we may not always
have puppies available.  The best way to guarantee yourself a puppy is by placing a reservation on one of our
upcoming litters.   We produce a litter under two circumstances, 1, we intend to keep a puppy from that cross for
ourselves or 2 we have a reservation for a puppy from that litter.  Our planned litters page will give you an idea of what
crosses we would like to do but unless we decide to keep one or someone places a deposit the female will not get
bred.  If you want a puppy from that litter you need to contact us to find out if there are any current reservations or if
you need to place one to make that breeding happen.  Adding to the overpopulation of unwanted pets in the world is
not our goal.

A $200 deposit will hold your place in line for the puppy of your choice before the remaining puppies are posted for
sale on our web site.  Picks will be honored in the order they are received.  As the breeder we always reserve first right
to any puppy we produce that we feel will benefit our program and improve future generations of puppies.  Deposits
are non-refundable.  If the puppy of your dreams is not delivered in the litter your reservation is for you may move your
reservation to a different upcoming litter where reservations are still available.  Reservations are limited and we ask
people to be understanding as we have no control over how many puppies are born or what there gender will be.  The
benefits of placing a reservation are many, not only do you assure yourself of your pick but also open up the possibility
of a discount.  If you put a deposit down on a litter in advance we ask that you make an additional payment of $200 to
hold your puppy when it is chosen.  The remainder of the balance and any necessary shipping funds are due when
your puppy is 6 weeks old.  However if you choose to pay for your puppy in full(puppy and shipping) at the time your
pick is made you will receive a 10% discount on the overall price of your puppy.  Deposits to hold puppies that are
already born is 1/3 of the purchase price.  Any puppy over 6 weeks of age must be paid for
in full at the time of
purchase.

Puppies are priced individually starting at $700 based on quality,  pedigree, registration type and conformation.
Occasionally we have a puppy or adult available for less than this to a qualified home.  We
DO NOT price our dogs on
hair coat length or markings as we feel that has very little to do with the quality of the dog overall and a broken or
rough hair coat or unique markings are just an added bonus to an already beautiful puppy.  We require written proof of
spay/neuter from your veterinarian before a pedigree is supplied on a pet puppy.

We will selectively place puppies with full breeding rights into homes where their potential will be recognized and used
to benefit the breed.  Pet puppies do not necessarily have anything wrong with them.  We feel that the best homes for
our puppies are in pet homes and therefore our goal is to place as many of our puppies, that we do not retain for
ourselves, in loving pet homes as possible.  However if you are looking for a dog with breeding rights please contact us
and we would be happy to help you select the best quality puppy that will produce high quality individuals.  Puppies
purchased for breeding and/or show purposes are priced starting at $900.

Our pet puppies are priced slightly lower to help families with the coast of spaying or neutering their new pet.  Total
cost after vet bills for sterilization ends up very similarly to that of our breeding puppies.  Simply having a pedigree with
breeding rights does not change the quality of a puppy, however it does increase the value of that dog.   My goal is to
provide top quality puppies at prices that the average family in todays economy can afford.  I am blessed to be able to
do this as a hobby and not as a sole source of income.  All my puppies get the same great care whether they are a
$700 pet puppy or a $1200 potential breeding and show dog.  Limited registration and pet pricing is a very common
practice within the dog show community.

In an effort to help reduce the incidence of accidental breeding and to maintain the high standard of
integrity of the EJRTCA registry all Kountry Thyme puppies are placed on a spay or neuter agreement
unless otherwise discussed.(effective 7-14-2009)

Our number one concern is placing our puppies in forever homes, however we understand that circumstances in life
can change.  If for any reason you are unable to keep your Kountry Thyme Jack Russell puppy we ask that you contact
us first as they are always welcome back to our home where we will try to find them a new forever home or keep them
as our own.  Our dogs are family members and we hope to have a life-long relationships with them and their new
families.  If you have a prospective family already available for them we would like to be in touch with them and offer
them the same support and friendship we have offered to you.

You can be confident that when you purchase a Kountry Thyme Jack Russell you are getting a healthy puppy.  Our
dogs are fed Nutrena Loyall Premium Dog food and Momma dogs are put on Loyall Puppy food at the time of breeding.
This ensures that mom and babies get proper nutrition even before your puppy arrives.
Puppies are checked by our vet between 3-5 days of age at which time their tails are docked and dew claws are
removed.  Puppies are de-wormed with Pyrantel at 2 weeks, with Safeguard at 4 weeks and with Valbazene at 6 weeks
and 8 weeks as is recommended by our vet.  They receive their first puppy combo shot at 6 weeks of age.  Your puppy
will arrive at your home with all age appropriate vaccinations and de-wormings.  We will send your puppy home with
food, a toy that smells like their Mom and siblings, and a complete health record.

Puppies are started on wet puppy food(Loyall kibble soaked in hot water) at 4 weeks of age and are slowly introduced
to dry kibble before they leave our home.

Puppies are given a full health exam at 8 weeks of age at which time we check their fecal, eyes, ears, bite, patella's,
and testicles(males).

We require that you have your puppy examined by your vet within 72 hours of receiving them, unless other
arrangements have been previously agreed to.  If your vet finds a congenital defect or that your puppy is not healthy
we will, upon written notice from your certified vet, replace your puppy with another available puppy.  If no other
puppies are available at that time you will be given the option of our upcoming litters in which reservations are still
available.  We do not guarantee pet puppies as breeding dogs.  If you purchase a puppy from us as a pet we expect
them to be spayed/neutered.  Upon receiving written proof from your veterinarian that your puppy has been
spayed/neutured we will provide the pedigree for your puppy.

We do not GUARANTEE the height, weight, coat length, ear set or conformation of a puppy at maturity.  We do
however do our very best to give you an idea of what your puppy will look like as an adult based on their current size,
coat and conformation and what the parents' conformation, coat and size is.  I will never intentionally misrepresent one
of my puppies.  If you purchase a breeder puppy from us and it does not grow up to be what you expected we will
replace the puppy upon receipt of the previously purchased dog.  We hope that by the time you learn of a disqualifying
fault your puppy has become a treasured member of your family therefore we do give the option of keeping your
puppy.  If you choose this option you will be required to send all registration papers for your puppy back to us and
have the puppy spayed or neutered.  Upon receiving written verification from your vet that your puppy has been
sterilized we will provide you with another puppy that has breeding quality potential at half price.  If you choose to
return your initial puppy it must be intact unless otherwise discussed and we will provide you with a new puppy of
comparable quality free of charge.  All shipping fees on returned and replacement puppies are the responsibility of the
purchaser.

Our puppies come to you prespoiled.  They are played with, kissed and hugged on a daily basis and they will expect as
much from their new families.  We love our dogs and hope to find families for them that will do the same.
