Lance was born here at Kountry Thyme. He was a puppy
that I got extremely attached to and wanted so badly to
keep but unfortunately at that time we were still in our old
house and just didn't have the room for another male. So
with a heavy heart I let him go knowing I was letting go of
great one. He got a great home with my friend and fellow
breeder Wendy Lindsey. I watched Lance grow up and
watched him sire puppies, all the while missing him
incredibly. Then the day came that I got phone call from
Wendy asking me if I would like Lance back. I said YES!!
I'm thrilled to have this boy back in my breeding program
but more importantly back in my life. The bond I have with
this dog is just as strong as it was the day he left and I
know that those kind of relationships are rare. Lance will
be here with me for the rest of his days. My plans for him
are to turn him into my show dog. He is a great
representative of the breed as well as of my breeding
program. It was what I had hoped to do with him when he
was a puppy and now that I am getting a second chance
with him I'm going to do it. He will be bred to some of our
females in 2010 and we can't wait to see the puppies he'll
produce for us. I'm so proud to have produced this dog
and so thankful to Wendy for letting me have him back.
I'm still crazy about him!!
Lance's first litter of puppies here at Kountry Thyme is due
the first week of June and are out of Daisie. I can't wait to
see them!!
