At Kountry Thyme Jack Russell Terriers our focus is on QUALITY not QUANTITY.  Due to that fact we may not always have puppies available.  The best way to guarantee yourself a puppy is by placing a reservation on one of our upcoming litters.

A $200 deposit will hold your place in line for the puppy of your choice before the remaining puppies are posted for sale on our web site.  Picks will be honored in the order they were recieved.  As the breeder we always reserve first right to any puppy we produce that we feel will benefit our program and improve future generations of puppies.  Deposits are non-refundable.  If the puppy of your dreams is not delivered in the litter your reservation is for you may move your reservation to a different upcoming litter where reservations are still available.  Reservations are limited and we ask people to be understanding as we have no control over how many puppies are born or what there sexes will be.  The benefit of placing a reservation is not only getting first or second pick in a litter but also a reduced price of $600 for a spay/neuter contract or $800 with full breeding rights.

Puppies are priced individually starting at $700 for pet puppies and $900 for breeder pups and vary based on quality,  pedigree, and conformation.  We DO NOT price our dogs on hair coat length or markings as we feel that has very little to do with the quality of the dog overall and a broken or rough haircoat or unique markings are just an added bonus to an already beautiful puppy.  We require written proof of spay/neuter before a pedigree is supplied on a pet puppy.

We will place puppies with full breeding rights into homes where their potential will be recognized and used to benefit the breed.  Pet puppies do not necessarily have anything wrong with them.  We feel that the best homes for our puppies are in pet homes and therefore our goal is to place as many of our puppies in loving pet homes as possible.  However if you are looking for a dog with breeding rights please contact us and we would be happy to help you select the best quality puppy that will produce high quality individuals.

Puppies must be paid full by 5 weeks of age.

Our number one concern is placing our puppies in forever homes, however we understand that circumstances in life can change.  If for any reason you are unable to keep your Kountry Thyme Jack Russell puppy they are always welcome back to our home where we will try to find them a new forever home or keep them as our own.  Our dogs are family members and we hope to have a life-long relationships with them and their new families.

You can be confident that when you purchase a Kountry Thyme Jack Russell you are getting a healthy puppy.  Our dogs are fed Loyall Premium Dog food and Momma dogs are put on Loyall Puppy food at the time of breeding.  This ensures that mom and babies get proper nutrition even before your puppy arrives.
Puppies are checked by our vet between 3-5 days of age at which time their tails are docked and dew claws are removed.  Puppies are de-wormed with Pyrantel at 2, and 4 weeks of age and with Panacur at 6 weeks as is recommended be our vet.  They recieve their first puppy combo shot at 6 weeks of age.  Your puppy will arrive at your home with all age appropriate vaccinations and de-wormings.  We will send your puppy home with food, a toy that smells like their Mom and siblings, and a compelte health record.

Puppies are started on wet puppy food at 4 weeks of age and are slowly introduced to dry kibble before they leave our home.

Puppies are given a full health exam at 8 weeks of age at which time we check their fecal, eyes, ears, bite, patella's, and testicales(males).

We ask that you have your puppy examined by your vet within 72 hours of recieving them.  If your vet finds a congenital defect or that your puppy is not healthy we will, upon written notice from your certified vet, replace your puppy with another available puppy.  If no other puppies are available at that time you will be given the option of our upcoming litters in which reservations are still available.  We do not guarantee pet puppies as breeding dogs.  If you purchase a puppy from us as a pet we expect them to be spayed/neutered.  Upon recieving written proof from your veterinarian that your puppy has been spayed/neutured we will provide the pedigree for your puppy.

We do not GUARANTEE the height, weight, coat length, ear set or conformation of a puppy at maturity.  We can only estimate by their current size and conformation and what the parents' conformation and size is.  If you purchase a breeder puppy from us and it does not grow up to be what you expected we will replace the puppy upon reciept of the previously purchased dog.  We will not provide a second puppy under any circumstances without the first puppy being returned to us.

Our puppies come to you prespoiled.  They are played with, kissed and hugged on a daily basis and they will expect as much from their new families.  We love our dogs and hope to find families for them that will do the same.
