| Welcome to Kountry Thyme Terriers' home on the web. Kountry Thyme Terriers is a family owned and operated facility. We specialize in the 8"-12" English Jack Russell Terrier of only the highest quality. We are proud to offer all three coat types, smooth, broken and rough and a variety of colors. I am a professional breeder who takes the producing of a litter very seriously. I have spent countless hours researching canine gentics, nutrition, reproduction and socialization in order to produce the healthiest and most even tempered puppies possible. My goal is to always produce puppies that are better than their parents, improving upon each generation in an effort to leave a lasting impression on the overall quality of this breed. I know my dogs well, they are members of my family and treasured companions first and foremost. I have studied the pedigrees of my dogs extensively focusing on bloodlines that have proven to produce the characteristics that I strive for in my breeding program. My puppies are born and raised in my home. I am an active part of their life from the time they take their first breath to the day they leave here for their new homes. This is much more than just a hobby, it is a passion. My focus is on raising healthy, friendly dogs with sound minds, correct conformation, beautiful heads with heavy button ears, good bone and sweet, people loving temperaments. I hand select my breeding stock and take proactive steps in my socialization methods to promote these things in my puppies. My dogs carry the heritage of some of the best lines in this country, Elk Creek, Short Stop, Westerly and Russellville along with some imported Irish lines. I would like to thank Karen Adams of Hobbit Hill, Wendy Lindsey of Apple Jacks and Jana Crawford of Russellville Farms for helping my in acquiring my foundation stock and for their continued support and friendship. They are always there to lend an ear or answer a question. Thank you! I have recently ventured into new territory within my breeding program with the purchase of a pair of Hunt Terriers. I am so excited about this new adventure and look forward to producing the same quality of Hunt Terriers that I am known for with my shorties. Again, thank you so much to Karen Adams for providing us with Chianti, our foundation Hunt girl and for her friendship and advice in pursuing this venture and to Cindy Montgomery for giving up JR and allowing us to add such a high quality male to our program to build off of.
